Apartment Hernandez in Casarones |
CASARONES is just 5 minutes Drive From La Mamola with its own beach. Casarones is a small friendly coastal village with its own Cafe/bar. It is situated a couple of minutes off the main N340/E15 taking the turn off for Castillo de baños. Castillo de Banos is minutes away and has a small supermarket, a good restaurant, a camping site with bar/restaurant and swimming pool. La Mamola has all other facilities needed for a wonderful holiday. La Mamola has a street market on Thursdays. El Lance which is only a few minutes walk also has a nice beach and a Bar/Restaurant where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the sea and mountain views. Ony 5 minutes drive passed El Lance and you will be in the busier resort of Castell de Ferro where there are many restaurants and bars and a large beach. Castell has a street market every Saturday. Casarones is reached via 3 airports Almeria, Granada & Malaga. From Almeria take the N340/E15

The main bedroom is nicely furnished with twin beds that can come together as a doublebed, It has a large wardrobe and bedside drawers. There is a small Balcony.
Living/Dining Room
The Living/Dining Area is large and has a sofabed, dining table and chairs, cupboard unit and TV. It has a balcony with side sea views

2nd Bedroom
The second Bedroom is a good size with twin beds, wardrobe and bedside unit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equiped with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and all utensils. It has a small balcony which has a washing machine.
Bathroom
The Bathroom is fully equiped with bath/shower, toilet, bidet, washhand basin and lighted mirror.

Casarones is just minutes from the turn off to Castillo de Baños on the main N340/E15 road which is the main coastal route from either Malaga (2hours) or Almeria (1 hour) airports. Granada Airport is just over an hour away.
Casaornes is on just off a small Coastal Road that goes down into Castell de Ferro and is a very beautiful ride along the side of the Sea.
The Fiestas of Casarones take place in July and the photo above is taken outside the local Cafe/Bar Nico's where you can sample excellent Tapas and local Spanish dishes.
The neighbouring village of Castillo de Baños is a few minutes away and has a large Restaurant?Bar on the sea front. There is also a campsite with Restaurant and Bar and a swimming pool which can be used by the public for a small daily fee. Castillo de Baños also has a small supermarket with fresh meat counter.
La Mamola 5 minutes drive takes you to the resort of La Mamola.
CASTELL DE FERRO
Just 5 minutes drive away down a small beautiful coastal road is Castell de Ferro. It has large Beaches and a long promenade. There are many Bars and Restaurants and shops. There is also a 24 hour medical centre. Castell de Ferro has a Street Market every Saturday.
